Working alongside Awesome Events our sister company, Awesome FX lit up the St Ermins Hotel using our awesome LED Uplighters, LED Bars and LED Poseur Tables. The ballroom was washed in an amazing pink colour which contrasted nicely against the clients black tie dress code. After dinner the Cloisters Suite was revealed completely washed in blue to accompany our blue LED bars and LED Poseur Tables.
Awesome FX had the pleasure once again of supplying our LED Cubes and LED Banquettes to Channel 5 for Celebrity Big Brother. They originally hired from us back in September 2011 and haven’t seemed to stop since! It seems they are as enthusiastic about all things illuminated as Awesome FX are and even teamed the Banquettes with cool Big Brother eye cushions for their guests!
Working alongside InterContinental London, Awesome FX were proud to supply a range of our products for singing sensation Rihanna’s end of tour wrap party. The pop princess herself decided on a theme of 80s Prom party which included Awesome FX Black and White Dance floor and two of our LED Starcloths among other products. Rihanna was so impressed she even took to Twitter to say “We just had our end of year/tour Christmas party!!!! We turned it into an 80s prom, since I’ve never had one! It was sooo much FUN!!!!”
Working in conjunction with promotions and events company Symbiosis, Awesome FX supplied a variety of items at the Open Bet Awards Party at the London Hilton on Park Lane. The 300 guests were wowed by our LED Illuminated Banqueting tables changing colour each time a new award was announced and together with our illuminated mirrorball table centres created a stunning effect to the overall dining experience. Later guests danced the night away on our LED Dancefloor and could get a drink from our LED Illuminated Cocktail Bar.
Awesome FX created an amazing 70s style Disco at a 40th Birthday Party featuring our LED Illuminated Dancefloor, Bubble Cocktail Bar with flair barmen creating some funky cocktails, Plasma Screens showing Saturday Night Fever mixed in with some pics of the birthday boy, plus a variety of our LED Illuminated Cubes and Banquette seating at a chill out area.
Awesome FX was at the recent Red Carpet opening of Hugo Boss new store in Manchester. In fact it was Awesome FX that supplied the red carpet together with red ropes & posts and lighting. A variety of stars from the world of entertainment and sport attended to make it a truly starry night.
Awesome FX supplied our fabulous Feather Plume table centres at the recent Microgaming Awards dinner at The Brewery in the City. The organisers of the event were looking for something to really give the dining tables a lift but at the same time to be sophisticated and once they saw the Feather Plumes they were decided there was no gamble with these, as they were bound to be certain winners!!
X Factor star Stacey Solomons was the star attraction at an event at Carden Park near Chester recently where Awesome FX supplied our stunning LED illuminated colour changing banqueting tables. The Vauxhall motors event was organised by new agency Deeper Blue who are always on the look out for something innovative to offer their clients and having seen our tables decided they would be perfect for this event.
Awesome FX were delighted to supply our latest range of Cocktail Bars at the prestigious Best Companies Awards at Battersea Evolution. The bars feature white leather Chesterfield effect padded fronts which are illuminated by built in LED colour changing light strips. The bars proved to be extremely popular during the evening, although that might have had more to do with what was being served at the bars!!!
Movida Nightclub was the venue for the Launch Party for Pixie Lotts brand new range of designer dresses for Lipsy. Awesome FX supplied two internally lit LED Towers either side of the entrance to the nightclub together with some LED colour wash uplighters in pink to give a real celebrity look to the outside of the venue and create quite a stir!
Awesome FX created a Totally Awesome entrance at this annual event. Guests made their way along a stunning walkway leading onto the balcony of the Great Room at London’s 5 star Grosvenor House. Using our video floor, we were able to show a moving effect featuring the UK Pensions Awards 2010 logo together with the various sponsors of the night as the guests made their entrance
Awesome FX working together with agency Banks Sadler added a real splash of colour to one of their clients corporate parties last month at the Lancaster London Hotel. We supplied illuminated Poseur tables lit in Blue, Orange, Pink and Green together with our fabulous illuminated Bubble Bar with colour changing bubble tubes, to lift an ordinary drinks area into something quite special
Awesome FX were delighted to work alongside MCM Productions to produce a little something extra to the Boehringer Party at the Sofitel Terminal 5 Hotel at Heathrow. We created a stunning chill out area using our colour changing LED Banquette seating together with LED Cubes and internally lit LED Perspex Plinths that were topped with a floral arrangement. Also instead of just an ordinary clothed up table to act as a bar we covered the hotels trestle tables with white Spandex covers and then internally lit them with high intensity LED lights, thus creating a simple but stunning effect. Guests then danced the night away on our fabulous black p light dancefloor adding a touch of sophistication to a great party atmosphere.
AwesomeFX were brought in for yet another high profile client at No 5 Cavendish Square. The daughter of the owner of a Premier League football club celebrated her 18th Birthday at the venue and hired the LED dancefloor, LED banquettes, mirror cubes and plinths to turn the venue into their very own nightclub.
Stephenson Harwood, Law Firm of the Year 2009, called on the services of Awesome FX to help turn one of their offices at their building at St Pauls into a relaxed cocktail lounge for one of their celebratory parties recently.
Using LED colour wash uplighting to soften the look of the office and LED illuminated Poseur tables with bar stools, you would easily believe you were in a local cocktail bar rather than an office.
The client was so pleased, they have booked Awesome FX to repeat the theme for a couple of other parties they are throwing.
Awesome FX were given the task to design a simple yet effective and cost conscious table centre for Pizza Huts annual party. Working to a tight budget, we created a centre piece consisting of an acrylic tube filled with irredescent branches and discs which was then uplit using high intensity, battery operated LED lights mounted onto the middle of the table to give a truly stunning and unusual solution.

Organizing an event for so many people is no small undertaking and it is mainly down to the strong teamwork of all involved that makes this annual party run so smoothly.
Off-limits were awarded with concept and production of the 2010 HBAA awards at the newly refurbished Grand Connaught Rooms. Working alongside Off-limits, AwesomeFX looked after the AV and stage set aspects for this event. This event is a highlight in the hoteliers and agents calendar and so every care was taken to create atmospheric lighting and theming to go with the “CIRCUS” inspired theme that was agreed with the clients. As you can see from the images this was created with fine detail given to the stage set, props, lighting and amazing table centres. A very successful event that will be hard to beat.
An awards ceremony in Brighton needed a bit of brightening up, so we were asked to transform a bland exhibition hall into a fantastic nightclub. Using our LED dance floor, LED furniture, bean bags, white and black bar stools and our NEW Led mobile bars we set about the challenge. We only had 2 hours to set the venue and working with the client this was accomplished with ease. The awards ceremony went off as slick as anything and then the guests danced the night away into the early hours.
After a very busy November and December, AwesomeFX were very pleased to be appointed the AV company for a 650 delegate conference in Birmingham for a second year. Our fantastic new warehouse means that we are able to build and store a whole host of conference sets, staging and AV equipment. Our two back projection screens and seamless switchers enabled us to play videos, presentations and power points during the conference. After delegates were split into 65 teams for “go kart” building. During the evening we modified the set with a 20ft LED star cloth and the screen were used to show the song lyrics for our evening entertainment of Rockaoke.
